Through my experiences, I believe young adults prefer modern bedroom furniture because it’s different then their parents furniture. As kids most of us grew up in our parents’ house. Most parents had more traditional looking furniture in their homes and as kids that was the only thing we were used to for 18+ years. As we grow up and leave for college or have a place of our own, we want our place to represent us.
